Meet Your Pet Holistic Care Giver

Hi, I’m Regina. I’m a certified canine and feline nutritionist, clinical herbalist for animals, and a classically trained homeopath. My work focuses on helping animals achieve true health by looking at the whole picture: nutrition, lifestyle, nervous system balance, metabolism, environment, and the individual constitution of each animal.

My journey into holistic animal care began in the summer of 2020 when I rescued my beloved dog, ZiShunka. She came into my life at only seven weeks old, critically ill with parvovirus and multiple parasitic infections. Using acute homeopathy and western herbal medicine, I was able to support her through the initial crisis. But even after medical treatment and surgery, her condition remained extremely fragile. For weeks she was unable to eat or drink on her own.

At one point, I was strongly advised to euthanize her. On the way home from the emergency hospital, something extraordinary happened, ZiShunka suddenly began eating and drinking on her own for the first time in six weeks. That moment changed everything for me. It sparked a deep determination to help her body truly heal and rebuild through natural nutrition and holistic support.

I began implementing food as medicine immediately. Slowly, day by day, ZiShunka grew stronger. Within a few months, she went from barely being able to walk to becoming the fastest runner in the park. Watching her recover and thrive awakened something profound in me. I returned to the disciplines that had helped her, nutrition, herbal medicine, and homeopathy, and realized that this was the path I wanted to dedicate my life to.

I went on to complete my certification in canine and feline nutrition through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute and studied food therapy inspired by the work of Dr. Ian Billinghurst. I also trained in canine herbalism under the mentorship of renowned herbalist Rita Hogan, and became a clinical herbalist for animals. In addition, I am a classically trained homeopath, currently studying with Jeremy Sherr and working toward my master’s in advanced homeopathy at the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathic Studies.Continuing to deepen my knowledge so I can better support animals and the people who care for them.

Today I work with pet guardians around the world. Many of the animals I see have complex or chronic conditions, while others are healthy pets whose guardians want to support long-term resilience, vitality, and longevity. My approach is always individualized and deeply holistic. I look beyond symptoms to understand the underlying terrain of the animal and design thoughtful protocols that support the body’s own healing capacity.

My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for the profound bond between animals and the people who love them. ZiShunka’s story continues to guide everything I do, reminding me every day that healing is possible when we support the body in the right way.

If you feel that I may be the right person to support your pet’s health and well-being, I warmly invite you to reach out and explore working together.
